Raised in the heart of ranching country, Tarlton Holloway grew up in Stamford, Texas, where a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for agriculture were instilled through his family’s commercial and registered Angus cattle operation. Being involved in the cattle industry from a young age helped shape his understanding of livestock production, land stewardship, and the values of rural life.
After graduating from high school in Stamford, Tarlton Holloway continued his education at West Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Ag education in 2017. Following graduation, he began his professional career as a County Extension Agent, where he spent three years working with producers and community members to provide education and resources related to agriculture and rural development.
